    State Gov Today Launches to Elevate the Voices of State and Local Government Leaders

    New multimedia platform features weekly video podcast and monthly TV program focused on peer learning and real-world outcomes

    Washington, D.C., 1/13/26 — State Gov Today announced the launch of its new multimedia platform dedicated to helping state and local government leaders learn from their peers and elevate public service nationwide. Created by the team that launched Fed Gov Today, State Gov Today brings together voices from across the country to share practical insights into the technology, policy, and operational innovations shaping government today.

    Hosted by George Jackson, State Gov Today delivers broadcast-quality programming designed to inform, empower, and connect government professionals through thoughtful conversations grounded in real-world experience.

    “State and local leaders are solving complex challenges every day, often in isolation,” said John Meyer, CEO of State Gov Today. “State Gov Today creates a national forum where those leaders can learn from one another, exchange ideas, and build a stronger community focused on improving outcomes for the people they serve.”

    The platform includes a weekly video podcast and a monthly television program, supported by original digital content and on-site coverage at key state and local government events.

    The State Gov Today weekly video podcast features in-depth conversations with CIOs, CISOs, agency heads, and industry innovators from across states and localities. Each episode explores how leaders are approaching modernization, cybersecurity, digital services, workforce challenges, and more.

    The State Gov Today monthly TV show is a one-hour, theme-driven program released every month, beginning February 11, 2026. Filmed on location around the country, each episode focuses on an emerging high-priority topic, bringing together multiple state and local leaders for in-person, broadcast-grade interviews. Each program also includes two industry-focused segments highlighting innovation and real-world impact.

    The television series is exclusively sponsored by Carahsoft, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting collaboration, learning, and innovation across the state and local government community.
